I started working with MIDI around 2005 through my work with Opposing Force and The Falcon Lords. At first I would just program beats into FL Studio, but then I got more sophisticated and created fully fleshed out, through-composed pieces in Guitar Tab Pro and Sibelius.
The MIDI versions of my original songs became MIDIITIS. I used these as the basis for every song in my catalog, either completing old songs that had been programmed in, or writing toplines over new instrumental compositions. Sometimes I do MIDI covers of artists like Fugazi or Leonard Cohen. So far I have programmed hundreds of originals and covers. The originals are being released in a series of compilations. The first compilation, MIDIITIS I, is available now!
New work appears here as I write it. Every piece in the MIDITIS catalog is available for license, whether as a beat or backing track, TV or film placement, or video game soundtrack. They have also been recorded as fully-realized songs with live instrumentation, topline melody, lyrics and vocals, with both MIDI and human stems available in the trackouts.
